The 2020 Belgian Corporate Governance Code celebrates its first birthday
On 17 May 2019, the Royal Decree designating the 2020 Belgian Corporate Governance Code as the reference code for Belgian listed companies was published. One year later, we are even more convinced that the 2020 Code is a useful tool for companies to reflect on their governance structures and practices and that the 2020 Code can provide important guidance for the sustainability and development of Belgian listed companies. The Corporate Governance Committee is, of course, open to any question that might arise regarding the implementation of the 2020 Code.
